counselor (C.S.C.) in the State of Texas. 

I take a team approach.  Whether the counseling sessions are for children, adolescents, adults, or couples, everyone involved plays a role in achieving success.

My ultimate goal is for my services to no longer be needed because good progress has been made. Nevertheless, I will stay with you as long as necessary.  

I have developed my own technique to help couples communicate in a productive manner and work together toward mutually beneficial outcomes. My general approach to counseling involves assisting in developing effective tools that can be used outside of the counseling room. 

I have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in psychology, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in psychology, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in educational leadership where my major course of study involved investigating methods used by colleges and universities to meet the needs of college student-athletes. I work with children and teenagers who are experiencing focus, self-esteem, trauma, behavior, social and emotional concerns, as well as adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety and trauma issues. 

Some personal tidbits:  I have served a church mission to Japan, enjoy sports and rock and roll, and my great-grandfather was part of Butch Cassidy’s “Wild Bunch.”
